Privacy Policy

StartupPul is a Bihar Startup Evaluation Test (BSET) preparation platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. We keep it short deliberately — you should be able to read it fully.

1. What we collect

That is the complete list. We do not collect your address, date of birth, Aadhaar, PAN, or any government identifier. We do not ask for payment card details — payment is arranged separately over WhatsApp.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers
We do not send marketing spam — emails from us are login links and account notices only
We do not track you across other websites

3. Who can see what

You — see your own profile, attempts, and scores
Other users — see only your name and best score on the leaderboard. Your email and mobile are never shown publicly
Our team — a small number of authorised staff can view accounts for support and fraud prevention

4. Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase, which runs on secure cloud infrastructure. Login emails are delivered via Brevo. Both are established providers with their own security and privacy commitments. Access is protected by row-level security, meaning one user cannot read another user's records.

5. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

Access — ask for a copy of everything we hold about you
Correct — fix anything inaccurate
Delete — ask us to erase your account and data
Withdraw consent — stop using the service and have your data removed

Message us on WhatsApp and we will action any of these within 30 days.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your profile and attempt history. Anonymised statistics — such as average scores per section — may remain, but these cannot be traced back to you.

7. Children

StartupPul is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email.
